Sandy's rugs are an 8' X 11' oval that she started in 1966 that took 10 years to finish and a runner that took 5 years. They were the victims of 30 years of very hard wear and tear. Sandy did not want to replace them with machine braided rugs but said, "our house needs a braided rug!"
