This 8' X 12' rug was made over 40 years ago by the owner's mother as a wedding gift. It passed around the family for years and came home again when the owners moved. It was difficult to fix because the material was so deteriorated that I could not find a viable piece to sew into as I butted in new sections. I removed two outside rows to replace the 4 middle rows and the rug is stable and ready to be enjoyed again.
