This 8' round braided rug was made in middle America 15 years ago but never lay flat. The center had a huge "sombrero" like bulge that made it a tripping hazard. In order to repair it without losing the center colors which created a nice pattern, I removed several blue rows farther out, replaced some of that color, and relaced. The finished product not only lies flat, but the original pattern has been retained. The missing rows weren't missed at all!
