Marge's Braided Rug Patterns
Designing a braided rug is an art form and after many requests I have decided to make some of my more popular rug patterns available. They are designed to be used in conjunction with instructions on my "How to Braid" videos and are based on my unique methods that use wider, more luxurious braids.
There are two parts to each pattern. Part One defines the number of feet of strand for each color in the rug and the number of yards of material needed for that color. You may use your own colors in lieu of the colors presented in the pattern.
Material needed is based on 60" wide yardage using my 4" wide strand method. Ten percent has been added to usage figures to allow for different tension in braiding and lacing by various braiders. Each pattern contains information for 3 different sized rugs. The following gives you an idea of the content of the actual patterns:
