"Kaleidoscope"...a 3 1/2' Round Braided Rug

This client wanted many colors and no bands or defined rings...just a "Kaleidoscope" of brilliant colors. This design complimented the large bookcase with many colorful book jackets and the red picked up the red in the free standing fireplace. In order to capture the eclectic feeling over 20 colors and 150 seams were needed to incorporate short sections of braided strands. The companion rug "Junior K" was smaller and therefore much thought was needed to work in the myriad of colors needed to make it compatable with its big brother.
