"Dakota"...4 1/2' Round Braided Rug

"The Dakota Kid"...a matching 2 1/2' X 4' Oval Braided rug

Made as a matching set for a South Dakota couple, these 2 very mid-western style rugs are duplicated despite the difficulty of the large one having 18 rows of braid and the smaller only 10 rows to work with. Only the gray was abandoned and the overall "Sibling" look has been successfully created.

The colors are in keeping with existing floor coverings and furniture, all accomplished via mail using photos and paint chips. A pleasing outcome to a fun project!
