After receiving her first 3 custom rugs "Karen" and "Karen's Duo", a note arrived: "You guess I'm sure, that I want another one". As with the others I made, they were to be matching small rugs, similar to the large, with no more than 2 rounds of the same swatches. Printed patterns were also a must. Thirty-three different materials were used in all. The note goes on to say, "Me and my cats can hardly wait for my next heirloom". She patiently waited for 17 months!
