"Semper Fidelis"...a 2' X 3' Oval Braided Area Rug

The owner's grandmother made rugs. She had cut up his Marine Corps uniform to include it in a rug she was making for him. Unfortunately the grandmother passed away before she could complete the rug. That was in 1976. The material was saved by the owner's mother and when she passed away he inherited it. He asked me to complete the rug for him and I was happy to do it. After a delay of 30 years he finally got his rug including green, red, tan and blue material from his uniform. I did my best to make the wait worthwhile.
