Stair treads are difficult to make. Despite their small size, each of them has all the tedious tasks that occur in a larger rug. For example, each 8 1/2" X 25" stair tread has a beginning row, a taper row and a final or "necklace" row as does a 9' X 12' oval rug. The challenge is to keep them all uniform in design and size. These 11 match perfectly in every way.
